Iran16 titles+2Promotional“promotional, sovereign-defender framing”
Patterns
- Iranian officials quoted authoritatively with no distancing verbs; statements presented as fact
- Military assertiveness foregrounded as capability and readiness ('fully prepared', 'decisively', 'rapid offensive')
- Iran framed as victim of US/Israel aggression while resisting heroically (drone downings, detained reporter)
- Diplomatic outreach (BRICS, China, UNGA) framed as responsible leadership
Caveats
Press TV is Iranian state media; the bundle is uniformly favourable and lacks any critical or neutral framing of Iran. The entity's quoted content is often hostile to the US/Israel, but the outlet's own stance toward Iran is celebratory and legitimising.
