Dubai Parking and Salik to Add 5% VAT from June 1

Starting June 1, motorists in Dubai will pay 5% VAT on parking services provided by Parkin and on Salik road tolls. The new rule applies to all parking services and Salik usage across the city. Drivers will see higher charges as the VAT is added to existing fees. The change is part of a broader Dh1.5 billion package aimed at protecting jobs and boosting key sectors, according to analysts.
