US strikes Iranian military sites after drone downed in international waters

The United States says it carried out strikes on Iranian military sites, including radar and drone command centers, over the weekend. The Pentagon said the strikes were a response to an Iranian drone that was shot down over international waters and to recent attacks on American forces in Kuwait.

Iran has claimed it retaliated after the US strikes. The US military, through CENTCOM, confirmed it targeted Iranian drone control and radar sites along the Strait of Hormuz. Kuwait also reported defending against drones and missiles during the same period.
