Russian foreign minister criticizes UN and comments on Ukraine war

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov gave a series of statements criticizing the United Nations and commenting on the war in Ukraine. He sharply criticized the UN Secretary-General and called the organization's actions regarding Donbas a disgrace.

Lavrov also said Russia has not received a 20-point peace plan for Ukraine. He commented on potential compromises and revealed what he called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's hopes in case of a ceasefire.
