Zelensky says Ukraine won't hold elections without a ceasefire

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine will not hold elections until a ceasefire is in place. He said the focus of upcoming talks with the United States will be on territory.

Separately, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that Ukraine and its European backers have derailed a peace initiative presented to Russia. He made the comment while discussing a plan reportedly presented in Alaska.
