Sudan's army says it broke rebel siege on key southern city

The Sudanese army, led by General Burhan, claims to have broken a siege by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of Kadugli. Kadugli is the capital of South Kordofan state and is considered a strategically important location. The military announced the breakthrough, ending the RSF's encirclement of the key southern city.
