Iran strikes Bahrain's largest oil refinery, causing major fire

Iran launched a strike on Bahrain's largest oil refinery, operated by the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco). Video footage showed thick black smoke rising from the facility after the attack.

Bapco declared force majeure on its oil shipments following the strike. This legal clause allows a company to suspend its contractual obligations due to extraordinary events beyond its control.
