Shell suspends some LNG deliveries from Qatar due to supply disruption

Shell has declared force majeure on some of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) contracts from Qatar. This legal clause allows a company to suspend its delivery obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, which in this case is a shutdown at a key Qatari LNG facility.

Separately, British Airways has canceled flights to several Middle Eastern destinations, including Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi. The airline stated the cancellations are due to ongoing safety reviews of its operations in the region.
