Israel says US-Iran ceasefire does not cover its conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that a ceasefire announced between the United States and Iran does not include the conflict in Lebanon. This means Israeli military operations against the Hezbollah group in Lebanon will continue.

Several U.S. political figures, including former Vice President Mike Pence and President Donald Trump, have also commented, aligning with the view that the ceasefire arrangement is separate from the Lebanon front. The clarification aims to prevent any assumption that a broader regional truce is in effect.
