Mali's Defense Minister Killed in Coordinated Attacks

Mali's Defense Minister Sadio Camara was killed during a series of coordinated attacks near the capital, Bamako. The assaults, which hit multiple cities, were carried out by al-Qaeda-linked militant groups, including JNIM.

Jordan's Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks. The violence also involved fresh fighting between the army and rebel forces, marking a major escalation in the country's ongoing conflict.
