Iranian officials say at least 210 to 230 children have been killed since the start of what they call the US-Israeli war or attacks. They held a funeral for 165 children and shared photos of graves dug for over 150 schoolgirls, with thousands of people protesting in the streets.
A spokesman for UNICEF, the United Nations children's agency, was described as being enraged over the child casualties. Iranian officials also stated that students and teachers are among the casualties and accused the strikes of showing hostility toward Iran's scientific progress.
