Strait of Hormuz Crisis Shakes Global Oil Markets

A fire on a South Korean ship in the Strait of Hormuz and the end of U.S. military operations there have caused oil prices to drop, with Brent crude falling below $111 and West Texas Intermediate nearing $100. The crisis has also led to record U.S. fuel exports and forced Egyptian logistics companies to restructure their operations.
