Iran attacks targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, Arab League calls emergency meeting

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched drone and missile attacks against several targets in the Gulf region. The strikes hit Kuwait's airport, a U.S. military base in Kuwait, and a desalination plant in Bahrain.

In response, the Arab League has convened an emergency session. The attacks come amid an ongoing conflict, and a U.S. National Guard member was reported killed in Kuwait, marking the eighth U.S. military death since the war with Iran began.
