African and French Leaders Meet in Nairobi for Summit

Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron called for reforms at the United Nations and pushed for African financial sovereignty during the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi also arrived in Nairobi and discussed bilateral ties with the Chadian president. The summit precedes upcoming G7 talks.
