Starlink to Bring Wi-Fi to 500 American Airlines Jets

American Airlines will equip over 500 narrow-body jets with SpaceX's Starlink Wi-Fi starting in 2027. The deal covers about half of the airline's main fleet and marks another major contract win for Starlink. Separately, the Pentagon is sparring with SpaceX over a Starlink price hike during the Iran war. Starlink and Amazon may also be able to buy into an EU mobile satellite spectrum plan.
