Italian leaders visit victims after Modena car-ramming attack

Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited injured victims in hospital in Modena after a car-ramming and stabbing attack. Investigators have excluded a terrorism scenario. Meloni cancelled a planned meeting in Cyprus to make the visit. The leaders thanked doctors and also praised a man who stopped the attacker, identified as Salim El Koudri.
