Samsung and AMD expand partnership on AI memory chips

Samsung Electronics and AMD have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on AI memory technology, including supplying next-generation high-bandwidth memory. The companies are also exploring a broader foundry partnership. AMD CEO Lisa Su is scheduled to visit a Samsung chip plant in South Korea to discuss expanding their ties.
