Israeli soldier killed and dozens of Hezbollah fighters reported dead in Lebanon clashes

An Israeli soldier was killed during fighting with Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon. The Israeli military says the soldier died in a clash that involved an anti-tank missile and gunfire.

The IDF also reported that its operations in southern Lebanon killed more than 30 Hezbollah operatives. In a major barrage, Hezbollah fired over 100 rockets at northern Israel, including what it said were precision missiles targeting an Israeli military site.
