Dispute over whether Lebanon is included in US-Iran ceasefire

A disagreement has emerged between the United States and Iran over whether a ceasefire between them also applies to Lebanon. The US says the agreement does not cover Lebanon, while Iran insists that it does. Other countries, including France and Pakistan, have called for the ceasefire to be respected in Lebanon as well.

Israel has stated that Lebanon is excluded from any ceasefire. Meanwhile, Iran's vice president mocked Donald Trump, and Trump declared a 'total' victory over Iran. Italy summoned the Israeli ambassador after shots were reportedly fired at a UN position in Lebanon.
