Israeli Man Killed in West Bank Shooting; Palestinian Driver Also Dies

In September 2026, an Israeli man was shot and killed in the West Bank. He was identified as Netanel Shukrun, a father of six. The shooting occurred near a natural spring. Israeli soldiers responded and killed a Palestinian driver. The IDF later arrested a suspect and said it was preparing an arrest operation. Separately, the IDF killed a Palestinian who tried to carry out a car-ramming attack. Israeli checkpoint closures also prevented over 100 Palestinian teachers from reaching schools in the West Bank.
