Israel admits firing on car of 5-year-old Hind Rajab, opens criminal probe

In August 2026, the Israeli military confirmed that its forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying five-year-old Hind Rajab in Gaza, a case that has drawn international attention and was later made into a film.
