Saudi Arabia signs military pact with Somalia and gets US approval for F-15 jet equipment sale

Saudi Arabia has been involved in two separate military agreements this week. The country signed a new defense and military cooperation agreement with Somalia.

Separately, the United States approved a potential $3 billion sale of sustainment equipment to Saudi Arabia for its fleet of F-15 fighter jets. The Pentagon approved the deal, which involves equipment to help maintain the aircraft. The U.S. and Saudi Arabia also recently completed joint naval exercises.
