French UN peacekeeper killed in Lebanon, Macron blames Hezbollah

A French soldier serving with the United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon was killed in an attack. French President Emmanuel Macron said the attack was likely carried out by Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant group.

Three other peacekeepers were wounded in the incident. Macron announced the death and pointed to Hezbollah's responsibility.
