DR Congo government forces launch attacks against M23 rebels

Forces from the Democratic Republic of Congo have launched attacks on multiple fronts against the M23 rebel group. A drone strike killed a senior M23 official, including the group's spokesperson, resulting in at least nine deaths. The fighting occurred near a strategic mining site in eastern Congo.
