Delhi court clears Kejriwal and Sisodia in liquor policy corruption case

A court in Delhi has discharged former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his former deputy Manish Sisodia from a corruption case related to the city's now-scrapped liquor sales policy. The court found no evidence of an overarching conspiracy or criminal intent, clearing all 23 accused individuals in the case.

The judge also directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take action against the investigating officer in the case, citing a need to fix accountability. The case had been a major political issue, with the opposition BJP frequently criticizing Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the allegations.
