European Union takes multiple foreign policy stances on China, Cuba, and NATO

The European Union has been active on several foreign policy fronts. The EU's foreign policy chief suggested turning NATO into a European bloc and merging it with the EU. Separately, the EU warned Canada about its closer ties with China.

In other actions, the EU's Chinese mission expressed strong opposition to a European Parliament resolution on Hong Kong. A report also indicated the EU is urging for political change in Cuba by 2026.
