Malaysian PM Says Taiwan Is Part of China

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar said he sees Taiwan as part of China, and China's foreign ministry appreciated his remarks while reiterating that China must and will be reunified. The Democratic Progressive Party on Taiwan was described as rattled by his reaffirmation. The remarks also drew attention to changing tones from Southeast Asia on Taiwan.
