Malaysia plans to cut fuel subsidies and boost supply amid price crunch

Malaysia is planning to reduce its subsidised fuel quota as global oil prices rise due to conflict in the Middle East. The Prime Minister has ordered fuel stations not to cite shortages and urged refineries to run at full capacity to maintain supply. Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof also stated the country is looking at new energy sources.
