Turkey Welcomes YPG Dissolution Claim, Demands Proof on Ground

Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan welcomed a claimed dissolution of the YPG, saying it would be welcome if implemented on the ground. He urged that the claim be proven in practice. The statements come amid analysis of Turkey's regional rivalry with Israel after strikes in Syria, and of the US role in the Middle East through Syria, Turkey and Iraq.
