The Syrian government and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have agreed to a four-day ceasefire. The truce comes after fighting in northeastern Syria, including around the city of Hasakah, where the Syrian army advanced toward the city center.
During the recent clashes, one civilian was reportedly killed by SDF gunfire in Hasakah. The SDF also said it pulled its fighters out of a camp holding families of Islamic State militants due to the fighting.
