French President Macron visits India as major fighter jet deal nears

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in India, where he discussed strengthening defense ties between the two countries. Macron said India will manufacture Rafale fighter jets in partnership with France, which he argued makes India stronger. During the visit, he also pushed for cooperation in artificial intelligence and other strategic areas.
