Democrat wins election in Florida district that includes Mar-a-Lago

A Democratic candidate won a special election for a Florida state House seat. The district includes the Mar-a-Lago resort, which is President Donald Trump's home.

The winning candidate, Tom Gregory, said his campaign succeeded by focusing on local issues and blocking out national political noise. The seat had been held by a Republican.
