Spain's leader rejects supporting US-Israeli strikes on Iran after Trump threat

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has publicly rejected any Spanish involvement in or support for reported US and Israeli military action against Iran. He stated Spain 'says no to war' and will not be 'complicit' in such a campaign.

This stance came after President Donald Trump reportedly threatened Spain with a halt to trade if it did not assist in strikes on Iran. In response to the threat, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his 'solidarity' with Sánchez.
