US extends license for sanctioned Serbian oil company NIS to operate

The United States has extended a license allowing Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), a Serbian oil company that is majority-owned by Russia and under US sanctions, to continue its operations. The company has also restarted its refinery in Serbia.
