China's top diplomat outlines foreign policy positions in press conference

China's top diplomat, Wang Yi, held a press conference outlining the country's foreign policy positions on several global issues. He called for an immediate end to hostilities in the Middle East and stated that a two-state solution is the only equitable resolution to the Palestinian question.

Wang Yi also addressed relations with other major powers. He urged Europe to shape a correct perception of China and stated that China and India must uphold good-neighborliness. Regarding China's partnership with Russia, he said the two countries are not afraid of external pressure.
