Trump threatens tariffs on European allies over Greenland dispute

President Donald Trump has threatened to impose tariffs on eight European nations. He says he will "100%" follow through on the threat if they support a deal involving Greenland.

The announcement has caused market jitters and prompted an emergency meeting of EU ambassadors. The European Union is reportedly weighing a potential €93 billion countermeasure in response to the tariff threat.
