Trump says NATO should let the US take Greenland, won't use force

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Donald Trump said NATO should allow the United States to take Greenland, but he stated he would not use force to do so. NATO chief Mark Rutte suggested he may have explained to Trump the existing U.S. rights in Greenland, and Russia was reported to be cheering the growing disagreement within NATO over the issue.
