Swiss Senate Approves Mercosur Trade Deal

Switzerland's upper house of parliament approved the Mercosur trade agreement on September 15, 2026. The deal includes 646 million dollars in support for Swiss farmers. The Swiss Senate backed the agreement in a vote. The approval moves Switzerland closer to joining the trade pact with South American countries.
