Azerbaijan Reports Mid-2026 Banking, Energy and Tech Figures

Azerbaijan has released a set of mid-2026 figures covering its banking, energy and technology sectors. The data includes a ranking of banks by charter capital, a separate ranking of banks by liabilities for the first half of 2026, and figures for white oil production and first-half fuel oil output. The country's Cybersecurity Center also discussed the market operation of several of its products. In addition, Azerbaijan highlighted the irreplaceable role of the human factor in journalism amid progress in artificial intelligence.
