Multiple politicians announce bids for Lagos governor and assembly seats

Several political figures have declared their intentions to run for office in Lagos. APC chieftain James Faleke endorsed Hamzat for the 2027 Lagos governorship, while another APC figure announced a bid for the Lagos State Assembly in Agege. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, under the ADC party, also declared his candidacy for Lagos governor.
