Multiple Fires Break Out Across Australia

In mid-September 2026, emergency services in Australia responded to a series of fires in several locations. These included structure fires in Preston, Knoxfield, Lorne, and Trafalgar, as well as grass and scrub fires in Wurrumiyanga and Stuart. A fire was also reported near the Sturt SA border, and a non-urgent alert was issued for Chain Valley Bay.

The reports cover separate incidents across different states and territories, with no single common cause or connection indicated between them.
