NATO allies discuss coordination in Greenland as tensions rise

Several NATO allies are calling for the alliance to coordinate its approach in Greenland. Italy's defense minister, Guido Crosetto, said NATO needs to unite, not divide, on the issue, while Estonia's Prime Minister Kaja Kallas warned against excessive pessimism about NATO's future amid the tensions.

Denmark has warned that a forced U.S. takeover of Greenland would mean the end of NATO. Meanwhile, other European Union and NATO members have expressed support for Greenland's position as strategic competition in the Arctic increases.
