Russia considers halting energy supplies to Europe before EU ban

Russia is studying the possibility of withdrawing from European energy markets and may preemptively halt gas and LNG supplies to the EU. President Putin suggested diverting these supplies to friendly countries in Asia instead. The Kremlin claims Western energy pressure has backfired and worsened the EU's energy situation.
