Israel and Hezbollah exchange strikes across Lebanon border

Israel has expanded its military operations into Lebanon, carrying out airstrikes in Beirut and other areas. The Israeli military has also ordered the evacuation of large areas in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah has fired rockets at targets in central and northern Israel, including Tel Aviv, in response. The group says it targeted Israeli military sites. The exchange of fire marks a significant escalation in cross-border hostilities.
