Germany Pledges More Patriot Missiles to Ukraine

In September 2026, Germany announced it will deliver additional Patriot missiles to Ukraine from its own military stocks. German Defense Minister Pistorius said the deliveries include PAC-2 interceptor missiles, and Ukrainian official Khmara said Ukraine has secured 1,000 Patriot missiles. Germany also plans to provide drones.

The announcement comes as Germany warns of increased Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure during the winter months. The United Kingdom is also stepping up its military aid to Ukraine.
