Large group of UN member states condemns Israeli measures in the West Bank

More than 80 United Nations member states have jointly condemned what they call Israel's 'unlawful' actions in the West Bank. The group, which includes nearly 100 countries and three political blocs, criticized measures they say amount to de facto annexation and settlement expansion.

A UN special rapporteur warned that recent Israeli land measures will consolidate this annexation. India was among the countries that added its name to the list criticizing what it termed Israel's unilateral actions.
