US seizes Iranian ship Touska, oil prices rise

The United States has seized an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named Touska, which was already under sanctions. President Donald Trump confirmed the interception, and Iran accused Washington of violating a ceasefire.

Following the seizure, oil prices jumped about 5% due to rising tensions near the Strait of Hormuz, a key shipping route. Trump also said his energy chief was "wrong" and predicted lower gas prices once the war with Iran ends.
