Armenia's Pashinyan makes new appointments and dismisses adviser

In August 2026, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made several new appointments and one dismissal. He appointed new deputy ministers for Environment and Health, as well as a new Deputy Chairman of the Urban Development Committee. Additionally, he dismissed adviser Artashes Tumanyan. Meanwhile, the newly elected parliament will have 12 standing committees and plans to establish an ad hoc commission on lawmakers' ethics.
