Saudi Crown Prince Meets Macron in Paris

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris on a state visit. The two leaders reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and France and discussed Iran and Gaza, urging a negotiated solution. They also opposed any navigation fee in the Strait of Hormuz. Macron separately warned that Russia will try to escalate against Europe to deter support for Ukraine.
