US Democrats Criticize Israel Over West Bank and Gaza

California Governor Gavin Newsom warned that West Bank annexation and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could lead Israel to become an apartheid state. Representative Ro Khanna said he was more disturbed by Israel's lies than by being detained in the West Bank, and argued that Netanyahu has antagonized an entire generation of Americans under 50. In a separate interview, a left-wing interviewer pressed Khanna on whether Hamas was justified in attacking Israel on October 7.
